Nov 2011: At long last I have completed my second novel. It is now going through the long process of editing and (with any luck) publishing. I hope it will be on the shelves by the end of 2012.

Oct 2011: I have been out in Budapest filming World Without End, a new 8 part TV adaptation of the Ken Follett book with Cynthia Nixon, Miranda Richardson, Peter Firth, and many other fine actors. I play Jeremiah and get to wear a 14th century wig and talk like a West country peasant. Ooh aargh.

Random Acts of Heroic Love has been optioned for a movie. The novel was in the Sunday Times Top Ten Bestsellers for 6 weeks and has now been translated in to 21 languages.
German, Italian, Polish, Dutch, French, Spanish, Czech, Hebrew, Russian, Chinese Taiwanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Norwegian, Lithuanian, Turkish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Romanian, Indonesian and Serbian.

Be aware that some of the translated titles are very different from the English title.
